New Albany High School Vision Mentors kick off program

Vision Mentors

Vision mentors at New Albany High School kicked off their mentoring activities at Camp Freshman which was held on Monday, August 6.

Vision is a year long mentoring program for high school freshmen designed to create a positive student culture for NAHS. The purpose of the program is to instill key values for success both in and out of the classroom. Vision mentors are selected from the junior and senior classes through an application process.

Student Mentors are responsible for the following:

  • Preparing weekly lessons and leading Vision groups.
  • Building relationships and helping freshmen make good choices
  • Acting as ambassadors for NAHS in school and community
  • Leading a school/community improvement project in the spring semester (Vision for the Community)
