New Albany 2017 Holiday Open House: “Soon it will be Christmas Day!”

New Albany’s 2017 Holiday Open House got the holiday season off to a rousing start today, (Sunday November 12). Stores, sidewalk benches, plaza tables and parking spaces were filled with hundreds of people enjoying the Christmas decorations, treats and festive atmosphere of historic downtown New Albany. Merchants reported brisk sales as shoppers kicked off the process of ticking off their Christmas list purchases. Visitors chatted with friends and family while enjoying the warmish weather and admiring the plentiful decorations.

New Albany Main Street and its downtown merchants hosted the ever-popular event.
