New Albany Policeman suspended

An officer with the rank of “patrolman corporal” has been suspended with pay from the New Albany Police Department (NAPD).

The New Albany Board of Aldermen, meeting as the city’s personnel board, met Thursday night to consider a recommendation that the officer be fired. The alderman took the recommendation “under advisement.”
