New Albany teacher selected to be a presenter at Literacy Conference

Angela Victory, a first grade teacher at New Albany Elementary School, will be a presenter at the E3 Literacy Conference in Oxford, MS on March 21. The literacy conference is a premier professional development event that builds the classroom teacher’s practice in literacy pedagogy.

Victory and LaShana Middleton will present the topic: “Write On: Utilizing Writing as a Natural Tool for Literacy Development”.

The conference is hosted by the University of Mississippi’s World Class Teaching Program in partnership with the Transforming Literacy in Mississippi Grant. Keynote speakers for the conference include national literacy leaders: Dr. Timothy Rasinski, Dr. Danny Brassell, and Dr. Patricia Edwoards.
