North Mississippi Pop-Up Art Colony set July 17,18, & 19

If you enjoy and collect art, and like watching the process, come to the Union County Heritage Museum on July 17,18, 19, 9 – 4, for the Mississippi Hills Pop Up Art Colony. Artists from the region will come together to create art and to give the public a chance to watch them doing what they do –art -painting, textiles, jewelry, sculpting and more.

Regional artists who will be at the event creating artwork include Gail Morton, potter, sculptor and and painter; Rebecca Browning, printmaker, potter and painter; Rhonda Grammer, watercolor artist, Jerry Jones, painter and sculptor, Cathy Talbot , jewelry maker, Maria Tucci Hughes, painter, Jeanette Stone, weaver, forged fibers, natural dyes; Cyprian Ngetich, drawing and painting; Robbie Boyd, painter; Justin Treadaway, painter, Lee Waltress, painting & textile.

It will be a great time to come by and get inspired to do your own work, to purchase original artwork as well as to commission works for the gift giving season or to hang on your wall.
