One month into ceasefire, Israel has killed 242 Palestinians in Gaza
Since the Gaza ceasefire went into effect on October 10, Israel has violated the ceasefire 282 times through direct violence (bombings, drone attacks, shootings) according to Gaza’s Government Media Office. In these actions, Israel has killed 242 Palestinians and seriously injured 622. This figure does not include Palestinians killed and injured in ongoing attacks and pogroms in the West Bank by illegal Jewish settlers (with Israeli military backing).
The Gaza GMO’s count of 282 violations does not count other documented forms of violations by Israel. These include: at least 52 demolitions of homes; conducting 12 residential raids over the “yellow line” (Israel’s authorized line of control in Gaza); and continuing to heavily restrict the flow of humanitarian aid on a daily basis.
The Trump administration claims that over 15,000 trucks carrying humanitarian aid have entered Gaza since the ceasefire began. However, neither local reports nor reports from the UN support this claim. Between October 10 and November 6, only 4,453 aid trucks have entered Gaza. On average, only about 171 trucks are entering Gaza per day. Under the agreement, Israel committed to allowing in no fewer than 600 trucks per day. The total has not reached even half that number on any single day since the ceasefire began.
