One vehicle accident at a local Texaco sends one to hospital.

New Albany Rescue and Fire crews responded to a one vehicle accident in the parking lot of the Texaco station at Hwy. 15 and Highland Monday evening.

Crews arrived and found one vehicle on its side, with entrapment of the driver.

Crews secured and stabilized the vehicle, and then removed the driver. The patient was handed off to emergency crews from Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County. Then fire crews then cleared the scene.

The extent of injuries to the driver were unknown at the time of this report; the incident was being investigated by the New Albany Police Department.
