Pamela Dianne Tanielian, 74
January 29, 1951 – October 12, 2025
Pamela Dianne Tanielian, age 74, departed this earthly world and entered into her Heavenly Home on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at her home in Benton County, Mississippi.
Per her request, Ms. Pam will be cremated, and no services are scheduled at this time. The family deeply appreciates the love and prayers being offered, and asks that you continue to remember such a wonderful lady in the days ahead.
Born on January 29, 1951, in Ferndale, Michigan, Ms. Pam was the daughter of the late Jeff and Dorothy Berglund Jones. She was a proud graduate of Ferndale High School and devoted more than twenty-five years of her career to Motor City Casino, where she worked as a dealer and was admired by both coworkers and guests alike.
A Christian and believer of the Baptist faith, Ms. Pam lived life with joy, laughter, and bold spirit. In her younger years, she found excitement behind the wheel of a Corvette or on the water skiing under the summer sun. Her thrill for life never dimmed through the years — she adored Rock N’ Roll, especially her beloved Rolling Stones, and could often be found soaking up the sun, reading a good book, or sharing laughter over a meal with her cherished son and daughter-in-law. Her favorite southern comfort was “Polk salad with vinegar,” which she enjoyed as much for the flavor as for the company around the table.
An animal lover with a tender heart, Ms. Pam was known for her compassion toward every stray cat that crossed her path. She made sure each one was fed, loved, and given a home — a true reflection of her kindness and generosity.
While her vibrant energy and fun-loving personality will be greatly missed, her family and friends take comfort in knowing that Ms. Pam is forever healed and resting in the arms of her Savior. Her legacy lives on through the memories she created, the laughter she shared, and the love she freely gave.
And though her earthly voice is now silent, we will forever be reminded of her spirit — in every Rolling Stones song that plays, in every stray cat that crosses our path, and every time we taste a bite of Polk salad with vinegar. In those small but special moments, we’ll smile and think of Ms. Pam, knowing she’s smiling right back from Heaven.
Her memory continues to be cherished by one son, Adam Tanielian, her sons wife, Sangthong, three sisters, Susie, Peggy, and Donna, one brother, Mickey, along with a host of cousins, family, and friends.
