Pat Ann Marcy Herring, 87

January 18, 1939  –  January 7, 2026

Tupelo/Nashville-Patricia Marcy Herring, 87, departed this life for her life in eternity on Jan. 7, 2026 from St. Thomas West in Nashville, Tn. Born in Tupelo on Jan. 18, 1939 to the late John Elbert and Clytee Lummus Marcy, Pat graduated from Tupelo High School and continued her studies at Itawamba Junior College. She was the widow of the late James Edwin “Pete” Herring who died August 1, 2004. A long time employee of the Lee County Health Department, she was also a businesswoman, a member of West Main Church of Christ and active in her church and community. Services celebrating her life will be held at 3 PM Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026 in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with burial in Lee Memorial Park in Verona. Visitation will be begin at 1 PM Saturday, 1/10/2026 at Holland-Tupelo, which is honored to service their friends.
