Patricia “Pat” Lynn Devore Bell, 66

November 29, 1959 –  September 17, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Patricia “Pat” Lynn Devore Bell, age 66, of Walnut, who passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Mississippi.

Services honoring Pat’s life will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Oakland Baptist Church in Walnut, with Bro. Robert Buse officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Sunday, from 1:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Oakland Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born on November 29, 1959, in Tippah County, Pat was the daughter of Betty Rainey Rose. She was a proud 1977 graduate of Walnut High School and was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Pat was strong in her faith, and her relationship with the Lord was an important part of her life. She dedicated many years of her life to her work at Thyssenkrupp Elevator, formerly known as Dover Elevator, where she worked from 1998 until 2017 on the Motor Cell Line.

Pat was a one-of-a-kind person who could always be counted on to speak her mind. She had a personality that could fill a room, and she never met a stranger. Pat loved to talk, and if you knew her, you probably knew exactly what she thought about just about everything! She made friends easily and treasured the many people who became a part of her life.

Above all else, Pat loved her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished her time with Austin, Jaden, and Gavin. She was happiest when surrounded by the people she loved and took great pride in her family.

For the past seventeen years, Pat shared a special and loving relationship with Mark Davis. Mark was a very important part of her life, and the two shared countless memories together. Pat also depended on Mark and her son, Andy, to take her wherever she wanted or needed to go. Their love, companionship, and willingness to always be there for her meant more than words could express.

Pat also had a very special four-legged companion, Bella, her beloved canine companion who brought her comfort, companionship, and plenty of love. Bella was truly a cherished member of Pat’s family.

Those left to cherish Pat’s memory include her mother, Betty Rainey Rose, of Walnut; her son, Charles “Andy” Bell, Jr. (Heather) of Walnut; two brothers, Mike Devore (Shelly) of Walnut and Calvin Devore (Pam) of Tiplersville; three beloved grandchildren, Austin, Jaden, and Gavin Bell, all of Walnut; her special friend and companion, Mark Davis; Mark’s son, Clay Davis of Falkner; a host of nieces and nephews; and her beloved canine companion, Bella.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bell, Sr.

Pat leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered for her outspoken nature, her willingness to tell you exactly what was on her mind, her love of conversation, her strong faith, and most of all, her deep love for her family. Her absence will leave a tremendous void in the lives of those who loved her, but the memories, stories, laughter, and love she shared will live on in their hearts forever.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Larry Devore, Luke Devore, John Devore, Greg Wilbanks, Jeremy Gates, and Roger Brock. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Crum, Jr., Skippy Wise, Gaither Barnes, the Walnut High School graduating class of 1977, and the TKE Motor Cell Line from 1998–2017.
