Paul Kenneth Potts, 65

Paul Kenneth Potts, 65, resident of Union County, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Oxford surrounded by his family.
Funeral Services remembering the life of Mr. Potts will be at 1 PM Wednesday, April 2 in The Memory Chapel of New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care with Bro. Terry Rodgers officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 2 from 11 AM to 1 PM at New Albany Funeral & Cremation Care with burial to follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Union County.
Mr. Potts was born November 6, 1959, in Ripley, the son of Betty Chism Smith of New Albany and the late Paul Kelly Potts. He attended Dellie Valley High School in Houston, TX and was employed in the shipping industry throughout his life. A member of Keownville Baptist Church, he will be remembered as kind person with a great sense of humor, a good son and peacemaker. His hobbies included fishing, socializing and listening to country music, especially Merle Haggard. Mr. Potts was larger than life and would give you the shirt off his back. He impacted many lives and leaves behind many memories to be cherished. His family takes comfort in knowing he is resting peacefully.
In addition to his mother, memories will be cherished by his daughter, Danielle Potts Davidson (Dakoda) of College Station, TX, his son, Paul Kevin Potts of New Albany, five sisters, Carol Rodgers, Betty Ann Potts and Brenda Richey (David) all of New Albany, Debbie Farr of IL and Paula Wintermote of FL, one brother, Don Medlin of Holly Springs and five grandchildren.
He is also preceded in death by three brothers, Eddie Medlin, Jimmy Dale Medlin and Stevie Potts and his former wife, Tina Louise Potts.
