Paul Rainey presentation to be repeated due to popular demand

New Albany, MS- The Life of Paul Rainey will be presented for the second time by popular demand on Thursday, August 25, at 12 noon at the Union County Heritage Museum.

Renelda Owen, of the Delta State University English Department, will present the interesting stories of the adventuresome life of the late millionaire Paul Rainey, who came to Union and Tippah Counties at the turn of the 20th century.

He brought his wealth and influence to New Albany and to the home he named Tippah Lodge and called home until his death in 1923, even though he had fabulous homes and estates in other locations.
