Plaza Auto Wash is open for business

Northeast Mississippi’s newest and most advanced facility for efficiently cleaning automobiles is now open in New Albany.

Plaza Auto Wash on Park Plaza Drive in New Albany is equipped with state-of-the art technology, assuring a very clean car and the best long-term protection for the car’s exterior paint. By using a sophisticated filtration system, the car wash recycles about 80 percent of the water it uses.

Plaza Auto Wash Manager Freddy Payne said the facility had a “soft opening” earlier in June and is now fully operational.

Its hours of operation are 8 am to 7 pm, Monday through Saturday, and 1 pm to 6 pm on Sundays. The facility is on the west side of Park Plaza Drive, about 2/10 of a mile north of Bratton Road.

Prices range from $7 for a car to be washed, rinsed and dried, up to $18 for Plaza Auto Wash’s deluxe wash that includes prep blaster, tire scrubber, triple foam, hot wax and clear coat treatment.

Memberships are available for $39 per month per vehicle, which allows the vehicle covered by the membership to receive the deluxe wash once a day, every day of the month. The first month of the membership is available at half price.

This Eurovac system powers the 24 vacuum cleaners at Plaza Auto Wash. Use of the vacuum cleaners is included with every car wash.

Payne said Plaza Auto Wash has daily specials such as “Monday Madness,” which allows $2.00 off on the deluxe wash and “Triple Foam Thursdays,” which allows a one dollar discount on that top-of-the-line service.

Every car wash includes the free use of one the of 24 vacuum cleaner stations in the parking area on the north side of the building. The vacuum cleaners are connected to a powerful Eurovac system located inside the building.
