Priority Ambulance Services’ building hit by vehicle on rainy evening

Around 11:15 p.m. yesterday evening, April 9, 2024, a single vehicle hit the Priority Ambulance Services’ building on HWY 15 N. in New Albany. The night was rainy and streets were slick.

New Albany Police Department and New Albany Fire Department responded to the emergency call.

Priority Ambulance, which operates Union County ambulances for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County, opened its new operating center to the public Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022.

One male was reportedly taken into custody at the scene.

The extent of damage to the building is unknown at this time.
