Public invited to UCHM meeting on progress & plans for improving grave search, documentation at City Cemetery

It’s been a year since the meeting at the museum relating to making the New Albany City Cemetery more navigable to people searching for particular graves. A follow up meeting will be held at the Museum Thursday, April 24, 10 a.m., to look at the progress made.

The public is invited to attend and learn the progress that has been made and what the plans are to continue with the project at this cemetery and others that are being researched.

One aspect of the project that has developed is the research on the military burials in Union County, which will be discussed.

The repair and preservation of headstones will also be discussed.
