Reed’s Market tells date and time for New Albany opening
After many months of remodeling, new equipment installation and other preparation, Reed’s Market in New Albany has set a date and time for its opening.
After months of hard work on the store and much community anticipation, on Friday afternoon, July 28th, owner Mike Reed told NAnewsweb.com that the new modern grocery supermarket on West Bankhead St. will open it doors to the public at 6 a.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2017.
A few dozen motor vehicles belonging to vendors, tradesmen, employment applicants, etc. have been on the Reed’s parking lot during the recent several days. This level of activity has perhaps contributed to the rumors flying about that the store is already open.
It’s Wednesday morning, NAnewsweb.com readers.
Mike Reed and his sons David and Jeff will operate the spacious new store. They allowed us to walk around inside Friday afternoon.
Dozens of new fixtures are installed, and shelves and many freezers are already stocked with merchandise. Bread will go on the shelves and produce and meat will be put into their coolers immediately before the opening time.
