Regina Franklin, 62

January 25, 1964 – February 20, 2026

God, in His infinite wisdom and mercy, grants us seasons — seasons of joy, seasons of growth, and sometimes, seasons of grace.

On February 20, 2026, Regina Franklin entered into eternal rest, completing her earthly journey and stepping into eternal peace.

Born on January 25, 1964, Regina lived a life marked by resilience, personality, and strength. She gave her life to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was striving daily to remain close to Him and His promises.

Regina endured many life and medical challenges that could have taken her many times, yet her spirit remained steadfast. Time and time again, she experienced restoration that felt nothing short of grace. What could have been endings became extensions. God continued to give her grace.

She loved music, laughter, and dressing beautifully. She had a warm smile that could brighten any room and a presence that brought comfort to those around her. Most of all, she loved and cherished her family and friends deeply.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her three beloved children: Aamil Franklin, Joya Wright, and Shelly Wright.

She also leaves behind her siblings: Deej Gamble, Katherine Franklin, Betty Franklin, Debra Franklin, Earnest Franklin, and Larry Franklin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Franklin and Doraeen Franklin.

Regina attended New Salem Missionary Baptist Church and, after relocating to Meridian, attended church there whenever she was able, continuing her desire to remain connected to God and His Word.

Visitation will be held 4:00pm until 6:00pm Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel 248 Hwy 15 South Pontotoc, MS 38863.

Memorial Service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, March 21, 2026 at New Salem M.B. Church in Pontotoc, MS.
