Retired teachers honored at brunch

New Albany, MS- The New Albany Schools honored teachers, administrators, and staff members who are retired from the school district at a brunch on December 1. Approximately forty retired educators attended the brunch that was held at the New Albany School of Career & Technical Education. The meal was prepared and served by the Culinary Arts classes under the direction of Instructor Anita Alef.

Also at the Retired Teachers Brunch, Superintendent Jackie Ford presented a plaque of appreciation to former School Board Member Bernice Bailey on behalf of the New Albany School Board of Trustees. Ms. Bailey began her service in June 2001 and was recognized for her fifteen years of service to the school district.
