Richard David Lutz, 61

October 6, 1963 – January 16, 2025

Tupelo- Richard David Lutz, 61, passed away peacefully Thursday, January 16, 2025, at his home in Tupelo. Rich was born October 6, 1963, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Harry Lutz and Deloris Vandinter Lutz.

Rich was best known for his kind heart and generous spirit, always putting the needs of others before his own. An avid motorcyclist, Rich found freedom and joy on the open road.

For many years, Rich served as a Project Superintendent at Custom Glass, where he took pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way.

He is survived by his sister, Peggy Westfall, and her husband, Mike, of Florence, Alabama; three stepdaughters, Christyn Shields of Fulton, Taylor Simmons, and Harley Simmons, both of Greenleaf, Wisconsin; and a wide circle of close friends.

Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m. Monday, January 20, 2025, at Pegues Funeral Home in Tupelo.
