Richard Neal Wolfe, Jr., 61

August 30, 1963 – April 15, 2025

NETTLETON – Richard Neal Wolfe, Jr., husband of Melida Wolfe, passed away at his residence in the evening hours of Tuesday, April 15, 2025. He was 61 years old. A Jersey boy, Rick was born on Aug. 30, 1963, in Woodbury, New Jersey to the late Richard Neal Wolfe, Sr. and Patricia Loughery Wolfe, who survives. He grew up in New Jersey. A patriotic American, Rick served in the U. S. Navy during peacetime. Rick lived in Georgetown, Kentucky , before moving in March of 2012 to the Tupelo area where he remained until his death. Much of his working life was spent with Toyota Manufacturing. He spent his first two years in Mississippi working at auto supplier Boshuka. In 2014 he moved to the Blue Springs plant. Until his health failed, he was a maintenance technician, often training other employees on the Toyota way.



Rick married the love of his life, Melinda Marie Land, in Gatlinburg, TN, on June 8, 2002. They spent almost 23 years of marriage together. Rick’s idea of being laid back included a fishing pole and a lake or golfing. He loved cars.

An hour of celebrating his life will take place in the Tupelo Room of Holland Funeral Directors from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Good Friday, April 18, 2025. His cremains will be inurned in the Columbarium at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholsville, KY at a later date. Holland Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.

Rick is survived by his wife, Melinda, of Nettleton. They had no children. He also leaves his mother, Patricia Wolfe of Cape May, NJ; his brothers, Paul Wolfe of Cape May, NJ, Chris Wolfe and wife, Julie of Cape May Courthouse, NJ, and Dennis Wolfe of Selinsgrove, PA; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and their families all across the country. He was preceded in death by his father, Rick, Sr., and a brother, Dave Wolfe.
