Rob Clayton, 59

June 20, 1966 – March 26, 2026

Guntown- Rob Clayton, age 59, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026. He was born on June 20, 1966, to Joe C. Clayton and Carolyn Evans Clayton.

Rob lived a life marked by laughter, loyalty, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys. He was an avid golfer who found peace on the course, and he also enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, and bowling. He had a passion for collecting baseball cards and sports memorabilia, taking pride in the stories and memories behind each piece. A devoted fan, he rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs and the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Known for his playful spirit, Rob was an absolute jokester who loved to pull pranks and keep those around him smiling. His sense of humor was a gift that brought light to every room he entered. Beneath that laughter was a man of quiet and steady faith. He was a Baptist Christian and attended Little Pasture Church, carrying his beliefs with humility and sincerity.

Above all, Rob loved his sons deeply. They were his pride and joy, the center of his world, and his greatest accomplishment. His love for them was unwavering, and that legacy will continue to live on through them.

He is survived by his sons, Jackson Clayton and his fiancée, Kaydee Estes, and Carson Clayton; brother, Brad Clayton and his wife, Jeni; nieces, Nikki Lyle and Katie Clayton; great-niece, Jamie Faye Lyle; cousins, Clay Clayton and his wife, Lisa, Matt Clayton and his wife, Donna, Mindi Guin and her husband, Steve, and Jesse Steward; and several distant cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Carolyn Clayton; and sister, Amy Clayton.
