Robert Adam Hobbs, 75

June 6, 1950 – October 16, 2025

Robert Adam Hobbs, 75, resident of Holly Springs, MS, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union County.



A graveside service honoring Robert’s life will be held at 2 PM on Monday, October 20, 2025, in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Potts Camp, with Bishop Steve Wilson officiating.

Born June 6, 1950, in Memphis, TN, to the late John and Doris Wages Hobbs, Robert was a faithful member of Bethlehem Church in Potts Camp and was self-employed as a contractor.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working, and was devoted to his Lord and his church.  Known affectionately as “Mr. Fix It” around the church, Robert was always the first one called when something at the church needed repair or attention. His helping hands and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include three sons, Steven Hobbs (Melanie) of Potts Camp, Warren “Bart” Hobbs of Holly Springs, and Bryan Hobbs (Melissa) of Saltillo, twenty grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one stepdaughter, Michelle Clifton, four stepsons, Danny Barber, Nathaniel Hobbs, Jonathan Betts, and Emmanuel Betts, and two adopted children, Josiah and Tearinee Hobbs.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Judy Hobbs.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Danny Barber, Robert Gray, Bart Hobbs, Bryan Hobbs, Nathaniel Hobbs, Steven Hobbs, and Fred Martin.
