Robert Kenneth Thomason, 91

December 26, 1933  –  December 16, 2025

Palmetto – Robert Kenneth Thomason died Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at his home in Palmetto. He was born on December 26, 1933, in Blue Springs to the late Leroy Thomason and the late Edith Irene Faught Thomason. Kenneth graduated from the New Harmony School in Union County. He was a farmer from a young age and won many awards as a youth in agriculture. Kenneth played basketball at New Harmony and remained an avid sports fan. He labored most of his working years to Kruger International where he retired from. He was fond of the many animals he had and trained. He also enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and playing with his grandchildren. He carried on his love for farming into the garden where he grew vegetables for the family and for the neighborhood to envy and share. He was a member of Old Union Baptist Church and loved his church family. Kenneth’s legacy will be remembered long by all who knew and loved him.



He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Stella Faye White Thomason; children: Keith (Amanda) Thomason of Saltillo, Anita (Bill) Frederick of Tupelo; grandchildren: Amber (Jonas) Jarnagin, Brooke (Tyler) Herring, Robert Keith Thomason, Breanna Thomason; great-grandchildren: Colton Harris, Henry Jarnagin, Archer Thomason; brothers: Guy Thomason of TN, Winston Thomason, Donald Thomason both of FL; special niece, Janie and a host of other nieces and nephews

A service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 19, 2025, in the Sadie Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo with Bro. Jay Parks officiating and Jeff Short singing. Visitation will begin at 10 AM until service time Friday. Burial will be at Lee Memorial Park. Holland Funeral Directors of Tupelo is honored to serve the family.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dwight Thomason; sisters: Fera Lessel and Mamie J. Miller

Pallbearers will be Robert Keith Thomason, Jonas Jarnagin, Randy Morgan, Benny Waycaster, Mike Phillips, Greg Waycaster, Brad Waycaster
