Robert Morrisette, 59

May 11, 1967  –  June 11, 2026

New Albany – Robert Earl “Santa Claus” Morrisette, age 59, passed away at his residence June 11, 2026. He was born May 11, 1967 in Bellflower, California.

Robert enjoyed Ole Miss, DVD’s, watching movies, hearing a good sermon, and playing games on his phone.

He was disabled but during his life he worked at Hillcraft Furniture for a short time.

Robert battled cancer beginning in 2020 and continuing until he departed this life. Robert knew the Lord and trusted Him through this. He was a member of Wallerville Baptist Church and attended Golden Gate Church of God when able.

He leaves behind his mother, Elsie Morrisette of New Albany, his aunt Jean Penrose of Downey, CA, his uncle William Bouchillon of New Albany, as well as several cousins whom he dearly loved. He also leaves behind several friends… if he knew you then you was a friend for life.

He was preceded in death by his father Thomas “Sonny” Morrisette, and a sister Diane Sabo, grandparents Eddie and Willie Bouchillon and his uncle Wayne Bouchillon.

His wish was to be cremated. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on June 23, 2026 at Wallerville Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Johnny Rakestraw officiating.
