Ronald “Ronnie” Pinson, 63

July 9, 1961 – January 31, 2025

Ronald “Ronnie” Allen Pinson was born on July 9, 1961 to the late Allen and Essie Lee Pinson. He departed this life on January 31, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Pontotoc, MS.

Ronnie accepted Christ at an early age and attended St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from North Pontotoc Attendance Center with the class of 1980.

Shortly after graduation he went to work at Paslode, then on to Action Lane Furniture for thirty years until closing was announced. During this time he opened his own business, Pinson Detail Shop. The shop went on to win “Best Detail Shop” several times. While washing cars he applied to Pontotoc Electric and was employed for eleven years.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children: Jaleasa Sharde Stockard and John Lee Martez Pinson both of Pontotoc, MS; one sister, Violet Pinson Boles of Pontotoc, MS; two granddaughters, Shaniya Hereford of Belden, MS and Amarlee Sharde Stockard of Pontotoc, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Essie Lee Pinson; one son, Kardetric “Nu Nu” Pinson; and two brothers, Albert Pinson and Bobby Pinson.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Payton Mortuary. Funeral service will be Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Pontotoc Second Baptist Church, 189 North College Street, Pontotoc, MS.
