Sally Ann Morris, 71
June 25, 1954 – May 2, 2026
Sally Ann Morris (aka Aunt Sal) was born in Lee County to Clinton Morris, Sr. and Vera Morris on June 25, 1954. On May 2, 2026 God sent His angels to carry her spirit on to glory surrounded by the love and support of her devoted family, right by her side.
Sally Ann accepted Christ at an early age and joined Johnson Chapel M. B. Church. She remained a faithful member until her health declined.
Aunt Sal was a strong solider, in spite of everything she went through. She always kept the faith. She never complained. She knew that the battle was not hers, but it was the Lord’s. 2 Timothy 4:6-7, “For I am ready to be offered and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
Sally worked at Kwiki Car Wash for many years. Later Sally and Martha opened up their own business- Shannon Auto and Detail Shop. Her most recent employer was Martinra in Shannon. She retired after her health declined.
Aunt Sally enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She always loved entertaining in her front yard, where we would gather every weekend. She was the life of the party and the center of attention.
Aunt Sal will forever be cherished in the heart and mind of her sisters; Mildred Morris and Martha Ann Morris (Phillip). They were like “three peas in a pod”. They were always together. She also leaves one special, loving and devoted aunt, Mrs. Elizabeth Harris; her nieces; caregiver and home nurse, Kathleen Owens (Lesley), caregiver, Youlanda Isby, Rachel Ward (Luke), Angie Martin Fear (Rod) and Renee Morris; nephews, Calvin Wayne Morris, Greg Morris, Corey Morris, Kennedy Morris, Dorian Morris, Fitzgerald Martin (Michelle) and Kevin Gates; her special great niece, Shay Cummings (Matt), a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Aunt Sal was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Vera Morris; brothers Clinton Morris, Jr. and Thomas Morris; a sister, Cecia Reynolds; her grandparents, William Louis Morris, Sr., and Eliza Jane Perkins Morris and Fred and Hanna Morris.
Rest in peace Aunt Sal. Your vibrant spirit and loving heart and gentle smile will be dearly and truly missed by us all. But your memories will forever be cherished by all who had he privilege of know you.
