Sally Garrant, 85

August 17, 1939 — December 27, 2024

In loving memory of Sally Garrant, age 85, who was reunited with her husband on Friday December 27, 2024 surrounded by family at Charleston Place, Fulton MS.

She was born August 17, 1939 in Plattsburgh, NY to Arthur H Stone and Ruth (Dubuque) Stone. She proudly worked as the supervisor for housekeeping at Meadowbrook in Plattsburgh for over 20 years. Her greatest joys were spending time with family, crocheting and knitting, and sharing her love of coloring.

She is remembered by her daughters Sue (Rick) Stone and Judy Garrant; granddaughters Wendy Baggett, Tracy Moody, Missy Warner, and Amanda Sorrell; and her great grandchildren Nathen, Autumn, Alex, Jaden, Harlee, Drew, and Beck, several nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Tiny.

She is reunited with her parents, her husband of 67 years Gilbert Garrant, siblings Richard “Ricky” Stone, Arnold Stone, Dennis “Jack” Stone, and Nancy (Stone) Mitchell.

The family will honor her memory with a celebration of life in Plattsburgh, NY at a later date. In lieu of flower, memorial donations may be made to Sanctuary Hospice Tupelo, MS (https://www.sanctuaryhospicehouse.com) in her honor.
