Sandra Dale Camp Jones, 63

November 3, 1960 – May 27, 2024

Dumas – Sandra Dale Camp Jones, 63, wife, aunt and music enthusiast passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024 after an ongoing battle with breast cancer. She is rejoicing in the Lord’s choir as she was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior.
She was born November 3, 1960 in Union County to Curtis Elmer Camp and Bettie Ruth Beaty Camp. She graduated from New Albany High School and attended Blue Mountain College. As a talented musician and vocalist, Sandra shared her love of music by teaching numerous students throughout the years. On Sundays you could always find her behind the piano at Dumas Community Church, where she was a faithful member.
More than music, she adored her family and friends. She was always the first to help others in any way she could. She will be missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband, William Ellis Jones. They’ve shared forty-one years of love and always enjoyed a trip to the mountains. She also leaves behind “her boys” nephews, Chris Camp (Marlee) and Brian Camp (Emilee); a niece, Summer Camp; and her great nephews and great nieces, Tyler Camp, Kason Carmichiel, Maddie Camp and Ellzie Camp.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024 at United Funeral Service with Bro. Doc Shelton, Bro. Don Wilson, and Bro. Clay Stegall officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
A visitation will be on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
