August 21, 1959 – March 28, 2025

On Friday, March 28, 2025, Mrs. Sandra “Sandy” Kay Wells, resident of Dumas, departed this life at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, following a sudden illness surrounded by her loving family.  The family has requested cremation.

Mrs. Wells was born August 21, 1959, in Howell, Michigan to the late Alfred and Rosemary Robinson Bidwell and was a graduate of Heartland High School in Brighton, Michigan.  A Christian, she worked as a truck driver, team driving with her husband, Charles, for Warner Trucking.

After retiring in 2006, she was a homemaker, who enjoyed crocheting, crafting, camping, fishing and gardening, just to name a few.  An avid animal lover, Mrs. Wells shared her time loving her faithful canine companions, Buddy, Samantha, Susie-Q, Duke, Bonnie and Shadow.  Being known as a “firecracker”, she always spoke her mind, without leaving anything left unsaid.  She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Memories will continue to be shared by her husband of twenty-six years, Charles Edward Wells, one daughter, Vanessa Osiecki of Heartland, Michigan, one sister, Vicki Smith of Blue Mountain, two brothers, Randy Bidwell (Joan) of Houston, Texas, and Ricky Bidwell of Howell, Michigan, three grandchildren, Kyle Osiecki, Alyssa Osiecki and Kaitlyn Felty, her special friends, Jimmy Hill, Greg Robinson, Teresa Willingham, and Sherman Smith, and a host of nieces, nephews and step great-grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by her parents.
