OKOLONA – Sara Goodwin Palmer died Sunday, March 9, 2025, in Okolona. She was 79 years old.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Okolona with Rev. Dr. Randy Lewman and Bro. Ray McHenry officiating. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2025 and again from 12 PM to service time on Thursday, all at the church. Burial will take place at Ridge Cemetery in Golden, Mississippi.
