Sarah Rhea Vickers, 89

June 27, 1936  –  January 12, 2026

Sarah Rhea Vickers, age 89, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026. She was born on June 27, 1936, in Clay County, Mississippi, to the late Charles Frank Rhea Sr. and the late Frances Beatrice Uithoven. She was married to her love of 66 years, the late Robert D. “Bob” Vickers. She has missed him dearly since his passing, October 24, 2022, and has longed to be reunited with him.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, January 16, 2026, 1:00 pm at Lee Memorial Gardens – Verona, Mississippi. A visitation will be on Thursday, January 15, 2026, 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo. Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo is honored to be serving their friends.

After 89 years of life, she leaves behind a brother, Charles F. Rhea Jr; children, Larry Vickers and Angela Lewis (David); grandchildren, Drew Lewis (Raegan), Lauren Vickers (Derrick Coots), and Nicholas Lewis; great-grandchildren, Kylie Lewis and Hudson Coots; and a family friend, Chris Reynolds.
