Union County Relay for Life 2018

More than 200 people participated in the Union county Relay for Life event Friday night at the Coliseum of the Union County Fairgrounds.

Rain threatened in the National Weather Service forecast,  but none fell to interrupt the event.

It was estimated that more than 200 people participated.

What is Relay for Life? Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in thousands of communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it’s time to take action against cancer. Events are designed to bring communities together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer.
