Summer enrichment class learns about using fresh local foods

,

Local Gardener Kelly Coltharp and her granddaughter Lucy King presented to students in the New Albany High School 21st Century Community Learning Center Summer Enrichment Program on Tuesday, June 16.  As part of their health and character education series, students learned more about making clean eating choices using fresh, local ingredients.  Under the direction of Coltharp, students learned to make fresh pasta using locally grown produce and fresh eggs.
