Sunday afternoon disturbance sends one to jail

Multiple New Albany Police Department (NAPD) officers answered a disturbance call Sunday afternoon at La Guadalajara Mexican Store, 468 West Bankhead.

The incident, between 4 and 5 p.m., resulted in NAPD transporting one person to the Union County Jail.

Jose Perez was booked for public drunkenness and other misdemeanor charges.
