The board approved most agenda items with minimal discussion in a very quick meeting this week.
(Timestamp 2:48): The board addressed renewing the contract with Tiger Correctional Services for inmate food service at the county jail. County Administrator Terry Johnson explained that the county’s contract with TCS stipulates that their rates cannot exceed the consumer price index. For the coming year, the inflationary charge will be down from 4.6% to 4.2%. The board approved renewing the contract
