Talance “Lance” Kendron Pannell, 34

April 23, 1990 – December 24, 2024

Talance “Lance” Kendron Pannell was born in Tupelo, MS on April 23, 1990 to Terry Pannell and Kimberly Hooper Pannell.

Lance passed away on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2024, at the age of thirty-four.

He attended Pontotoc High School. He gave his life to Christ at an early age when he attended Pontotoc Second Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and cracking jokes.

Lance was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bobby and Lillie Elzie Hobbs, and William Pannell; aunt, Theresa Hendrix Pannell; and uncles, Timothy Pannell and Wayne Pannell.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Kim Pannell and Terry (Tambrii) Pannell; siblings, Jermel Hooper, Tamika Pannell, Melba Smith, and Antonio Pannell; grandmother, Wyonnia Pannell; aunts, Sherron McIntosh Pannell and Pearlie (Gregory) Moore; uncles, Shelby (Donna) Pannell and Ray (Flora) Patton; nieces, Aniylah Hooper, Jakiylah Hooper, Ja’Mari Davidson, Ja’Liyah Hooper; nephews, Zaden Frierson and King Zinn; and a host of cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 28, 2024, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Payton Mortuary. Funeral service will be Sunday, December 29, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Pontotoc Second Baptist Church.
