Terry Cooper, 66

February 17, 1959 – October 8, 2025

Terry Joe Cooper, 66, of Potts Camp, passed away on October 8, 2025, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. A beloved father and brother, Terry’s selfless generosity, genuine kindness and quick humor were a gift and a joy to all who loved him.

The youngest of six siblings born to Joe and Audine Cooper, Terry was cherished by his family, especially his mother. His warm spirit and friendly demeanor endeared him to friends and relatives of all ages. In his tight-knit family, Terry is remembered for his good-natured laughter and consistently loving presence, which are irreplaceable.

A retired driver, Terry worked for US Holland for 28 years. In his early years, he worked on his family’s farm. Terry brought a strong work ethic to every task he undertook and leaves a legacy of commitment and sacrifice.

Terry is survived by his sons, Kevin Cooper (Brandi) and Tyler Cooper; grandchildren Jon Collier Kidd, James Reed Cooper and Josie Anna Louise Cooper; siblings Dianne Campbell (Ashby), Kathy Pipkin, Denise Roebuck (Larry), Keith Cooper (Beverly), brother-in-law Larry Hall, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pam Hall.

Family and friends will celebrate Terry’s life Saturday, October 11, at Salem Baptist Church, with visitation 2-4 and funeral at 4pm. Memorials may be made to Sanctuary Hospice House.
