Terry Lynn Joshlin, 59
February 10, 1967 – June 15, 2026
Terry Lynn Joshlin, 59, resident of Hornsby, Tennessee, and former resident of Ripley, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center in Corinth.
A graveside memorial service celebrating Terry’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026, at New Harmony Community Church Cemetery in Pine Grove, with Bro. Doc Shelton officiating. Per Terry’s request, he will be cremated.
Born on February 10, 1967, in Tippah County to the late Roy Levi and Mary Lee Howard Joshlin, Terry was a Baptist and a graduate of Pine Grove High School. He was a man who believed in hard work and spent most of his life behind the wheel of a truck. Terry began driving when he was just eighteen years old and continued for more than forty years, eventually becoming self-employed. The open road was not just his livelihood—it was a way of life he truly loved.
Terry was a simple country boy who found joy in the things that mattered most. He loved spending time on the water with a fishing pole in hand, cooking for family and friends, and enjoying the peace and quiet of country living. He never needed much to be happy. A good day outdoors, a home-cooked meal, and the company of those he cared about were enough. He was genuine, down-to-earth, and someone people could count on.
More than anything, Terry valued the relationships he built throughout his life. He shared a special bond with his family and friends, and his easygoing nature made him a pleasure to be around. He was especially grateful for the friendship and support of those who stood by him through the years.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Inette Nichols of Ripley; his brothers, Glen Joshlin of Ripley, Charles Joshlin (Charlene) of Ripley, and Kenny Joshlin of Ripley; his special cousin, Teolda Bryant, whom he loved as a sister; and his close friend and former boss, Lynn Hodge. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with him.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; a half-brother, Roy Howard; and a sister-in-law, Betty Joshlin.
Though his miles on this earth have ended, the memories Terry created and the love he shared will continue to travel with those who knew him. His family finds comfort in knowing that his legacy of hard work, kindness, and simple living will not be forgotten.
