The Shepherd Center of Tupelo Fall Festival fundraiser for senior citizen services is October 19

The Shepherd’s Center of Greater Tupelo, MS, established in 1991, is an interfaith, not-for-profit organization of, with, and for older adults.

The Shepherd’s Center Fall Festival will include many local artists and vendors, live entertainment, food and a raffle. It will be from 10AM to 4PM on Saturday October 19 at Fairpark in Downtown Tupelo MS. The event is free and open to the public.

The Shepherd’s Center is dedicated to and possesses a passion for empowering older adults in the Tupelo, MS area to live complete and independent lives to the full extent of their capability We do this through the development of programs of service and enrichment which improves the quality of life for all older adults in the community. Shepherd’s Center is governed by a board of trustees which meet monthly. Membership includes anyone participating in the programs and ministries of the Shepherd’s Center.

Our services include:

Transportation: Improve health by transporting seniors to their medical and rehab appointments.

Home Safety: Improve home safety and ease of movement within their homes.

Prescriptions & Food: Seniors to fill prescriptions in a timely manner and replenish their food stocks on a regular basis.

Mental Outlook: Provide a better mental outlook by fostering a sense of community of a similar age.
