Thursday July 18 at the Museum, Dr. Kate Stewart answers: “Is there a decline in the Southern language?”

 

 

Y’all come to the Thursday July 18th Museum Moments program at Union County Heritage Museum.

Fer sure you’ll wanna join us at noon to hear Dr. Kate Stewart answer the question, “Is there a decline in the Southern Language? Dr. Stewart will talk about the decline in cultural euphemisms of the south.  She is  a professor at the University of Arkansas at Monticello and a native of Cotton Plant.  Her razor-sharp humor and delivery are always a treat.

The event marks the beginning of the New Albany Literary Fest held annually July through September when a special emphasis is made to celebrate the Literary Arts. The event is free courtesy of the Mississippi Arts Commission and the Community Partners of the Museum.
