Tinnie Lynn Henderson, 69
July 6, 1956 – October 27, 2025
Tinnie Lynn Henderson, age 69, departed this earthly world and entered into her Heavenly Home on Monday, October 27, 2025, at her residence in New Albany, Mississippi.
In keeping with her wishes, Ms. Tinnie will be cremated. Although there are no services scheduled at this time, the family deeply appreciates the continued prayers, love, and support shown during this difficult season of loss. Donations can be directed to New Albany Funeral and Cremation Care.
Born on July 6, 1956, in Covington, Tennessee, Ms. Tinnie was the daughter of the late Mr. Chelsey Bennie Boyd Pruitt, and Edith Aviles. She received her education through the Mississippi Public School System and was employed with Toro Lawn Mowers for ten years before retiring.
A woman of unwavering faith and genuine heart, Ms. Tinnie was the kind of person who left an impression everywhere she went. She had a personality that could light up any room and a gift for making others feel seen and loved. It could be said that when she was born, the Lord broke the mold—because there was truly no one else like her. She had a way of turning strangers into friends and friends into family, always ready with a story, a laugh, or a piece of advice (whether you asked for it or not).
To her family, Ms. Tinnie was home. She was the steady place where love never wavered—where everyone was welcomed, accepted, and cared for just as they were. She took pride in cooking for those she loved, and her famous Peanut Butter Balls were a family tradition that will be fondly remembered for generations to come. Above all, she adored being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, finding her greatest joy in their laughter and company.
Though the world is surely dimmer without her, Ms. Tinnie’s light continues to shine brightly through every life she touched. Her kindness, humor, and love will live on as a lasting testimony to the beautiful woman she was.
Wonderful memories will continue to be cherished by one daughter, Arlinda Lynn Faulkner Gresham (Rickey Gresham), one son, Rickey Lynn Walls II (Kim Mayo), one brother, Avery Aviles, seven grandchildren, Jamie Faulkner (Megan Green), Will Faulkner (Haley), Cooper Faulkner, Rick Rick Walls (Hannah), Austin Sartain (Chloe), Makayla Fowler (Jessie), and Lucy Murrah (Stephen), fourteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Haley Lynn Walls, two infant sisters, Sherry and Frances Pruitt, three sisters, Linda Payne, Vicki Cox, and Teresa Pruitt, and two brothers, Bennie and Tommy Pruitt, and her parents, Chelsey Bennie Boyd Pruitt, and Edith Aviles.
