Tony Gerald Johnson, 67, of Tremont, departed from this world on May 10, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born on May 23, 1956, to the late Burlon and Minnie Langley Johnson.

Tony was a dedicated mechanic whose hands had the magical touch of transforming machines into marvels. His passion for tinkering under the hood was matched only by his love for his family and the great outdoors. He found solace and joy in the simplicity of fishing and hunting, as well as the satisfaction of working on cars, a craft he mastered over the years.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter cherished by those who were fortunate to know him. Tony is survived by his loving daughter, Stephanie Duke, and her husband Jason, his sons Brandon Johnson his wife Amber and Anthony Johnson and his wife Tera. His memory will forever be cherished by his five grandchildren, Macie, Baylee, Lexie, Jake, and Brandie, and his five great-grandchildren.

In the tapestry of his life, Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Burlon and Minnie Langley Johnson, as well as his brothers, Danny and Donny Johnson. Though they may have departed before him, their spirits undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms into heaven.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and share fond memories during the visitation on Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Associated Family Funeral Home in Tupelo. Associated Family Funeral Home is honored to assist the Johnson family during this difficult time.

Tony Gerald Johnson will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love.
