Tracy Renee Howell, 50, of New Albany, Mississippi, answered her call to enter eternal rest at her heavenly home on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Tracy Renee Howell was born September 2, 1975 to Lois Howell and the late Roosevelt “Sonny” Farr, Jr.

Tracy accepted Christ at an early age at Pleasant Grove MB Church. She loved her family and friends, but her kids and granddaughter were her entire world.

Tracy was a 1994 graduate of Ingomar Attendance Center. She worked various jobs after graduating high school, but her favorite of them all was being her own boss at her baking and t-shirt businesses.

Tracy is survived by her mother, Lois Crawford; her children, Alexis Pickens and Jay Pickens; her granddaughter, Karmyn Pickens; her sisters, Katrina Crawford, Connie Payton, and Cheryl (Ron) Hooper; her brothers, Chad (Cierra) Payton and Kerry Farr; her devoted companion, Curtis Stockard; her goddaughters, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

Tracy is preceded in death by her fathers, Roosevelt “Sonny” Farr, Jr. and Clifford Simpson; her brother, Steven Farr; her grandfather, Houston Howell; and her very special grandmother, Annie Gladys “Bessie” Howell.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Pleasant Grove MB Church, 1010 County Road 91, New Albany, MS 38652.
