TRP prepares to present Survivors’ Banquet for Relay for Life/UPDATED

Do you have an inter-superhero? Always wished you could dress as your favorite super hero and your friends not think you are well…. strange? Well here is your chance!!!

TRP is acting as host to the Survivor’s tent and Banquet this year and the theme is “Heroes”. This can be a real life hero or “Super Hero” such as Batman, Spider-man or even the Ninja Turtles!! Or the superhero in your head!!

We hope you will come out and support this great group of people. They have had a life changing event and are still with us!! Last year, it was so much fun hanging out with them. I hope you will consider coming out this Friday night. The Banquet starts at 5pm. Kick off is at 7pm. We will probably end before 11pm.  If you want to bring a happy or something to eat, we are planning on about 40 guest. You do not have to stay the whole night, but I hope you will come.

You can make laps and “relay” or serve or just be yourself and entertain!!

April 22, 2016 is the Union County Relay for Life Event starts at 6pm

At the last meeting, we, the TRP group, agreed to sponsor the Survivor’s Banquet this year! What a wonderful feeling!!

The theme for this years Relay is Heroes. It can be any hero from Batman or Ninja Turtles to real life heroes such a policemen, fire fighters, soldiers ect…

The TRP will not only sponsor the banquet, but we will serve the food and be helpers in their tent. What fun we can have! Come dressed as a super hero while we serve and entertain these people who have survived a life changing ordeal. We want to see smiles, so let us entertain!!

If you are interested in helping the night of relay, the banquet starts at 5pm. If you would help get food together, by baking, making sandwiches (TRP is buying all the fixings, we just need fixers), please let Evelyn Mason know by emailing or calling her at 662-317-9275

We raise money every year through our Hee Haw shows but we have not had a team booth in many years, because everyone is so busy. Let this be an opportunity to come out for a little while and be a part of this great event!! No pressure to sell anything but to have fun!!
