Truck overturns on Highway 30 West, completely blocks traffic/Updated
UPDATED 5:55 PM: NAnewsweb.com has been informed by officials that, at this time, one lane of Highway 30 is open to traffic at the scene of the accident. Both east bound and west bound traffic are moving by alternating use of the open lane.

As of 4:20 pm Saturday, Dec. 9, a semi-trailer truck has overturned and is blocking both lanes of Highway 30 West of New Albany.
The truck overturned shortly before 4:00 PM, just east of where Highway 30 intersects with Highway 349. The overturned truck is said to have been loaded with dairy products. — milk and eggs, etc, — and is thought to have been headed to the Walmart Distribution Center.
Official sources tell NAnewsweb.com it will take at least a few hours for the mess to be cleared up and for Highway 30 to be reopened to traffic.
Those headed from New Albany to Oxford,or vice versa, are advised to take an alternative route.
The driver of the truck is said to have no serious injuries.
