Twins celebrate 67th birthday together with a street party

It was a big birthday party on Jackson Street in New Albany Saturday afternoon, July 24^th.

James H. Cook, Sr. posed on his 67th birthday with his children James, Jr, Haley Allred and Sherry Knowles.

It was the 67^th birthday of twins, Betty Cook White and James H. Cook, Sr.

James Cook said he started cooking barbecue for his family, friends, and neighbors at 3 o’clock that morning.

The party started about 3 p.m. Several dozen people enjoyed music, conversation, plenty of food, cold beer and soft drinks for the children on a hot July afternoon with the temperature in the low 90s.

The Cook twins were raised in Blue Mountain, but have lived for a long time in New Albany.

The party was over well before dark.
