Ullay Kirk, 74
August 18, 1950 – July 4, 2025
Ullay Kirk was born August 18, 1950 to the late Russell Kirk and Suddie Franklin Kirk in Pontotoc, Mississippi. She transitioned to her Heavenly home on Friday, July 4, 2025 at Pontotoc Health and Rehab.
Ullay accepted Christ at an early age and joined New Salem M.B. Church. She later moved her membership to College Hill C.M.E. Church, where she was a faithful member until her health declined.
She attended College Hill School. She entered into the work field at Marshall Durbin and the Natchez Trace Inn. She also worked as a caregiver for the elderly. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, watching western shows, gardening, and sitting outdoors.
Ullay leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Sandra (Glenn) Isbell and Jennifer Pruitt both of Pontotoc, MS; two bonus daughters, Loretta Jones of Pontotoc, MS and Trenean Hammond of Tupelo, MS; seven sons, James Kirk, Charles McCallister, Gary (Kathleen) Kirk, Marcus Kirk, Travis Kirk, Stacy Kirk, and Jeffery Kirk all of Pontotoc, MS; eighteen grandchildren; one special grandchild, Talisha Isbell; eleven great-grandchildren; three special friends, Delois Crump, Harvey Johnson, and Nathaniel “Sonny” Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by both parents; one daughter, Stephanie Kirk; one son, Darrell Kirk; one great-grandchild, Kh’Mari Gillard; one sister, Mary Kirk; and one son-in-law, Robert Pruitt.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at College Hill C.M.E. Church, 7027 Hwy 6 East, Pontotoc, MS. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM at College Hill C.M.E. Church.
