Union Co. school bond proposal to be discussed at community meeting Monday

There will be a community meeting on Monday, September 11, 2023, for the purpose of discussing the Union County School District’s upcoming school bond referendum. The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. at the Magnolia Theatre in New Albany.

All interested parties are encouraged to attend the meeting to take part in the discussion about the future of our schools. The Union County School District is known to be providing one of the top educational programs in Mississippi. The outcome of the referendum will determine the future of that program, and of the Union County students.

Come to the meeting, ask your questions and get the facts about the bond issue. Then, plan to cast your vote on September 19th.
