Veterans’ Pin Design Challenge showcased 6th grade engineering skills
Heather Hefner’s 6th grade Seminar class at New Albany Middle School showcased their Engineering Design skills in the Veterans Pin Design Challenge.
All 6th grade students created a 3D Pin Design to honor Veterans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The top 2 designs from each class period were chosen and voted on by a judging panel of teachers.
The winning design, by Nora Beth Stroupe, was 3D printed and worn by the Veterans who attended the New Albany Middle School Veterans Day Program.
