Vincen Dixson, 69

August 16, 1955 – February 7, 2025

Vincen Dixson was born August 16, 1955 to the late Frank and Lartha Ree Dixson. He was a proud resident of Chicago, Illinois and was a 1973 graduate of John Marshall High School. He later took up a trade at Lincoln Land in Springfield, Illinois.

He was an entrepreneur of a detail shop in Springfield and retired from the trucking industry.

In his spare time, he enjoyed watching westerns, and keeping himself polished with a new Kangol, Stacy Adams, and a nice pair of khakis.

Vincen Dixson passed away on February 7, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Pontotoc, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Dixson.

Vincen leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Shelia Dixson; two sisters, Debra (Calvin) and Marion (John); five children, Tim (Saraya), Stephen, Tosha (Devin), Toya, and Calvin; two stepdaughters, Jessica and Jasmine Isby; fifteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, five nieces, and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Payton Mortuary. Funeral service will be Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Beulah Grove Community Church, 800 Beulah Grove Road, Pontotoc, MS.
